Dental hygiene is an important part of your pet’s life. We all hate bad breath, but that bad odor could be a sign of an unhealthy mouth, which could potentially lead to not only damaging your pet’s teeth and gums but their internal organs as well. Bacteria in your pet’s mouth is what leads to plaque and tarter buildup on their teeth. The key to maintaining your pet’s teeth is prevention! During your fur-friend’s annual exam we will evaluate the state of their teeth and gums, and go from there. There are several different methods to improve what your animal’s teeth look like, and eliminating their bad breath. We have tarter control treats and diets, and we also perform in-house dentals. A healthy mouth = a healthy life!
